Inauguration of the 7th “Sheila Silva” Family Orientation Center in Caracas

This Thursday, the 7th “Sheila Silva” Family Orientation Center was inaugurated, in the “Gual y España” building, in Caracas, where members of the community will receive care in neuropsychosocial matters and in productive areas, in honor of this brave and female fighter.

The mother of the eponymous, Sheila Silva, was present at the opening ceremony and pointed out that “this center, which bears her name, will attend to all the functions that she performed for the communities. Among them, the concern for violence, the problems of young people in relation to drug addiction, its prevention, their interest in the good life of older adults, among other social concerns.

For his part, the president of the Citizen Security and Comprehensive Defense Commission, Edwin Velázquez, said that “this Saturday Sheila marks the fifth anniversary of her departure, and all of us who knew her know the commitment she had as a social fighter for young people. and older adults. Her struggles for the woman, her attentions, house to house”.

Finally, this leadership guided vulnerable women to demand their social claims, to know their rights and deeply collaborated with the value of self-esteem to achieve their goals.
