  • “I swear to devote my strength to the good of the German people, to enhance their well-being, to prevent harm, to safeguard and defend the Basic Law and the laws of the Federation, to fulfill my duties scrupulously and to be fair to everyone. May God help me.”

Austria:

  • “I swear (Ich gelobe) to faithfully observe the Constitution and all the laws of the Republic and to perform my duty to the best of my knowledge and belief (nach bestem Wissen und Gewissen).”

Finland:

  • “I, XX. XX., elected President of the Republic by the people of Finland, declare that in the performance of my presidential duties I will honestly and loyally observe the Constitution and the Laws of the Republic, and that I will promote with all my efforts the fortune of the Finnish people”.

Russia:
