The report reveals that there is 50% probability that the season will be more active than normal. In addition, it raises 35% possibilities that it remains at the usual levels and just 15% of registering an activity less than expected.
Inameh estimates that between 13 and 18 storms could be formed, of which between 5 and 9 they would reach the category of hurricane. Of these, between 2 and 5 they could become hurricanes of great intensity, that is, categories 3, 4 or 5.
The agency indicated that it maintains constant monitoring about the evolution of atmospheric conditions in the region.
