An atmospheric disturbance that creates the passage of tropical wave number 48 to the west of the Caribbean Sea alerted the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh), but this situation, at the present time, It does not represent a direct danger to Venezuela.
According to a report from the organization, issued at 2:30 in the afternoon, it is indicated that the climatic phenomenon is located 220 kilometers from the central coast of Venezuela (close to 67°W and 14°N).
It develops a movement towards the west at a speed of 35 km/h, which causes convective development and generates precipitation, as well as electrical activity. The forecast indicates that the probability of cyclonic development is at a level of 90% in the next seven days, as it approaches the Central Caribbean.
Regarding the atmospheric situation this Monday, cloudy areas were predicted accompanied by moderate intensity rainfall and possible electrical discharges, in the following areas: Anzoátegui, Miranda, La Guaira, Capital District, Aragua and Guárico.
Weather conditions are expected to continue for the next two hours.
