Meteorologist Luis Vargas detailed on his Twitter account that the rain-generating clouds will also affect the Guayana region, Northeast, southeast Miranda, northwest Aragua, sectors of Carabobo, Central West, Zulia, Western Plains and Andes.
On Tuesday, November 8, Inameh forecast the approach of tropical wave number 51 over Venezuela, which will generate rain and cloudiness in much of the country.
The national agency stressed that this phenomenon is expected to reach the east of the country as of Wednesday, November 9, because it is currently located over French Guiana. For this reason, the rains are expected to last until at least Wednesday.
According to the information, the climatic conditions are produced due to the low pressure associated with tropical wave number 51 which, by interacting with the activity of the Intertropical Convergence Zone, causes an increase in precipitation..
In the afternoon, through the social network Twitter, users reported rains in Carora, Lara state, Punto Fijo, Falcón state —where the city was recently flooded— and in Catia La Mar, Vargas state.
