Inameh forecasts for this Saturday cloudiness and rains in much of the country

Inameh prevé nubosidad fragmentada en casi todo el país

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh) forecasts convective cloudiness generating rain or showers, some with electric shocks over Zulia, Falcón, Aragua and Miranda coasts, La Guaira, Capital District, west of Apure, Táchira, Insular area (Orchila Island, Los Roques and Nueva Esparta), south of Anzoátegui, Guárico, Amazonas and Bolívar.

The information was released by the institute through its Twitter account @INAMEH, where it reports that in the rest of the country it will be seen with fragmented cloudiness.

In the same way, in the afternoon hours, clouds of great vertical development are expected, in a good part of the country, with rains or showers, electrical activity and gusts of wind; being more intense and frequent in areas of the Andes, Central West, Central and Western Plains, North Coastal Center, Amazonas and northern Anzoátegui; with accumulated rainfall in Zulia, Táchira, Guárico and Bolívar.

The weather situation is caused by the Tropical wave number 51 moving over northwestern Venezuela, interacting with the Intertropical Convergence Zone; both are reinforced by the Divergent wind pattern in the upper levels of the troposphere.
