Inameh forecasts cloudy skies and precipitation for this Sunday

Inameh prevé este miércoles cielo parcialmente nublado en gran parte del país

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh) forecasts cloudy skies and rainfall in much of the national territory for this Sunday.

In its daily report, published through its account on the social network Twitter, the institute indicates that the Intertropical Convergence Zone in the south of the country causes convective nuclei with showers and occasional electrical discharges in areas of Apure, Amazonas, Bolívar and the Essequibo.

He adds that the influence of low atmospheric pressure is maintained in northern Colombia, generating cloudiness that produces precipitation of variable intensity, some with electrical activity in areas of Zulia, Andes, Barinas, Portuguesa, Cojedes and western Guárico.

Isolated rainfall is also expected in the North Coastal Center, east of Falcón, Sucre and Delta Amacuro as a result of the action of the trade winds on the orography.

The maximum temperature will be close to 38 °C and the minimum in the early morning will be around 14 °C in mountainous areas of the Andes and the Cordillera Central.
