This August 25, the Inameh forecast rains and showers that will affect areas of the Northeast, North Coastal Center, Delta Amacuro, Nueva Esparta, Yaracuy, Guárico, Barinas, western Lara, Apure, Amazonas, Bolívar and the Esequibo.
The National Institute of Metrology and Hydrology (Inameh) decreed an orange alert for the tributaries of the rivers in the states of Amazonas, Apure, Bolívar, Zulia, Trujillo, Táchira and Mérida due to the heavy rains that are registered throughout the country.
The weather agency predicted this August 25 through his account on the social network Twitter rains and showers in various areas of the country in the next few hours. According to the entity, in some cases the rainfall will be accompanied by thunderstorms.
He indicated that the storms will affect areas of the Northeast, North Coastal Center, Delta Amacuro, Nueva Esparta, Yaracuy, Guárico, Barinas, western Lara, Apure, Amazonas, Bolívar and the Esequibo. He indicated that in the rest of the territory there will be fragmented cloudiness and some partially cloudy areas.

In Caracas Civil Protection (PC) monitors the level of the Guaire River. In the images shared on social networks, the river can be seen at a half-height level.

The heavy rains of recent days also keep the authorities of the Sucre state on alert, the director of PC of the Sucre municipality of the entity, Luis Villalba, reported that the Manzanares River presents a significant growth in flow after the heavy rains.
They remain alert for a possible overflow. The governor of the entity, Gilberto Pinto, is also deployed in the state in the community of Cumanacoa attending to the more than 200 families that were affected by the overflow of the river.
According to a report from the government in the town of Yoroco there are more than 12 thousand families affected by the rains. “The governor has instructed the attention of the Montesino population after the collection work that began in Yoroco, where around 12,000 families were affected,” indicates the trill of the state government.
