The president commissioner said he was willing to review the institutional design of the INAI, reduce its structure and have its plenary session consist of five or three people. He has even declared that they will reduce the institute’s budget.
To convince to reverse the disappearance of the INAI, Alcalá has also met with authorities from the Ministry of the Interior (Segob), without reaching an agreement yet.
