INADEH revolutionizes agricultural training with high-tech bovine simulators

The National Institute for Professional Training and Capacity Building for Human Development (INADEH) has implemented three bovine simulators in its training centers located in Las Lajas (Chiriquí), El Bongo (Veraguas) and Chepo (Panama). These advanced simulators are used in the courses on Bovine Cattle Health, with a duration of 180 hours, and Artificial Insemination in Bovines, with a duration of 152 hours.

The simulators allow participants to carry out essential exercises such as blood extraction and detailed study of the physiology and anatomy of cattle. They are also equipped with patches to simulate caesarean sections in emergency situations, and have rectal and vaginal cavities for palpating the ovaries and cervix, as well as for inserting pipettes for artificial insemination.

INADEH director Yajaira Pitti highlighted that this technology seeks to support producers in various regions of the country, improving the training and preparation of future professionals in the agricultural sector.
