The National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) and the Chilean Civil Aeronautics Board signed this Wednesday, April 6, a memorandum of understanding for the strengthening of commercial aviation relations between both nations.
In this sense, the president of INAC, M/G Juan Manuel Teixeira, indicated on his social networks that the meeting with his Chilean counterpart, Martín Mackenna, served to deliver a document designating the Venezuelan state airline, Conviasa , to operate the Caracas-Santiago route and ratify mutual support in the upcoming elections to the council of ICAO, the International Civil Aviation Organization.

The meeting between Venezuelan and Chilean aeronautical authorities took place within the framework of the Fidae 2022 that takes place in Santiago de Chile from Tuesday, April 5 and will end on Sunday, April 10.
