INABIE investigates sale of shoes with its logo in a Villa Mella store

Santo Domingo North;- He National Institute of Student Welfare (INABIE) is investigating the complaint about the discovery of shoes with the institutional logo for sale in a store Villa Mella.

The Executive Directorate immediately became aware of the situation last Friday and initiated the necessary process to determine the origin of this merchandise and determine the corresponding legal actions in this case.

In this regard, personnel from the Inspection and Control Department carried out inspections in the store area of ​​the business, where they were able to verify the existence of a total of two pairs of shoes.

The case is currently being evaluated by the institution’s Legal Department in order to issue the final report establishing the truth about the preliminary findings.

The Executive Directorate reiterates that the clothing purchased from suppliers is intended for the school population and its sale under the institutional logo and the specifications required for its manufacture is strictly prohibited.

This is why we will not tolerate any type of marketing or sale by third parties of merchandise belonging to the institution or that bears its institutional identity.
