«The flower is distinguished by its scarlet petals and is also known as the ‘Perennial Flower’, due to its ability to retain its shape and structure even after drying. It does not vary over time, being associated with the resilience of nature.
According to the mayor’s office of Cali and the governorate of Valle, the image of COP16 was represented with 36 petals, which are flowers in themselves, and each of them symbolizes 23 global goals and 13 Colombian ecoregions.
