This is Gabriel Carlos Luis Salinas Mendoza, the man was arrested last Tuesday, after 11 p.m. in Colombia (1 in the morning on Wednesday in our country). He was detained by officials of the Police Management Directorate of the Chacao Municipal Police Autonomous Institute (Caracas metropolitan area).
Salinas Mendoza registered a blue notification from Interpol for the crime of aggravated homicide and aggravated arms and ammunition trafficking. The procedure was performed in the city of
Caracas. Within the investigative process, it was possible to establish his participation as the material author of the murder of the Paraguayan prosecutor. Since he was the one who was driving the jet ski that transported the murderer.
The process is in the First Delegate Prosecutor’s Office before the Court of Bogotá.
CONTEXT
The events occurred on May 10 of this year on the island of Barú in the department of Bolívar in Colombia. The Paraguayan prosecutor was assassinated by hitmen who approached him with a jet ski.
