A heavy blow to drug trafficking has been given by the authorities of the Security Establishments, because in the last anti-drug operations carried out in various parts of the country, they have seized more than 33 tons of drugs.
According to the Ministry of Public Security (Minseg) these operations have been carried out in the first three months of this year. Of the amount of drugs seized, about half (15 tons) have been seized in the province of Colón.
Only yesterday, through two anti-drug operations carried out in this province, the seizure of more than 2,000 packages of drugs was achieved.
