The federal forces caused this weekend an economic affectation to the drug trafficking groups estimated at 7,854 million pesos, through drug insurance, dismantling of Narcolaborios and seizures of chemical precursors, weapons, fuels and vehicles in Sinaloa, Sonora, Morelos and Tamaulipas.
In accordance with the Ministry of Citizen Security and Protection (SSPC) and the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), the operations were carried out between August 15 and 17 and had the most large seizures made as a Sinaloa epicenter.
In the El Ranchito neighborhood, in Culiacán, 300 kilos of methamphetamine and more than 42 thousand kilograms and 153 thousand liters of chemical precursors were seized, with a damage estimated at 4 thousand 130 million pesos.
In the same city, the search for five wineries allowed to ensure 116 thousand liters and almost 55 thousand kilograms of substances, in addition to laboratory equipment and vehicles, which represented a blow of 3,533 million pesos. Other operations in Culiacán and Cosalá dismantled 11 areas of chemical concentration, reactors and capacitors, with additional effects of more than 180 million.
In Morelos, in Emiliano Zapata, 40 kilograms of methamphetamines were secured, valued at 11 million pesos. In Sonora, at kilometer 120 of the Caborca-Sonoyta road, Rogelio Gutiérrez Guevara and José Bernardo López Baca were arrested, who were seized four long weapons, two shorts, loaders and cartridges.
At the same time, the FGR reported in Sinaloa the assurance of 120 thousand liters of chemicals such as acetone, toluene and hydrochloric acid, in addition to a tractocamion, a forklift and other crime objects.
Finally, in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, forces of the SSPC, National Guard and Army confiscated 55 thousand liters of diesel and a tractocamión coupled to an autotanque, with the arrest of a person.
