From the Bolívar Squares of the country, honors were paid for the commemoration of the 194 years of the death of the Liberator Simón Bolívar.

In an emotional civic event, the Apureño people gathered in the emblematic Bolívar Plaza of the Biruaca municipality. The event was attended by prominent personalities, including Governor Wilmer Rodríguez, the mayor of San Fernando Ofelia Padrón and senior military commanders such as Major General Daniel Galarraga and Brigadier General Leonardo José Quintero.

During his speech, Governor Rodríguez highlighted the validity of Bolivarian thought and its legacy in the construction of a free and sovereign homeland. “Bolívar is not dead, his legacy is still alive in the heart of every Venezuelan,” said the regional president.

Likewise, Rodríguez highlighted the importance of unity and citizen participation to consolidate democracy and confront any internal or external threat. “We are prepared to defend the Bolivarian revolution and guarantee the stability of the country,” he assured.

With this act, the Apureño people reaffirmed their commitment to the ideals of Bolívar and Chávez, ratifying their support for the government of President Nicolás Maduro.

In Falcón the speaker highlighted the qualities of Bolívar and his legacy

In the Plaza Bolívar de Coro (Miranda municipality) of the Falcón state, a contingent of 220 uniformed members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces accompanied by representatives of the Executive, Judicial and Comptroller powers of the entity paid a floral offering to the Father of the Nation, Simón Bolívar .
