The different regions of the country held rallies and marches this Saturday to denounce the interference of the United States Government and its acts of piracy in order to steal Venezuelan oil.

In a demonstration of patriotism, the people of the Ezequiel Zamora municipality of the Cojedes state joined the national day of protest called by the President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro, with a large motorized caravan and a march that started from the Mauricio Pérez Lazo Cultural Complex to Caracas Avenue in San Carlos, headquarters of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv) in the entity.

The day was accompanied by Jhony Flores, coordinator of the Sinbom Motorized Force; Alfredo Mujica, coordinator of the motorized organization Leones de Acero and spokespersons for the Movement for Peace and Life in Cojedes, who marched alongside the people in defense of national sovereignty.

It is worth noting that the central reason for the protest was the recent assault on a ship carrying Venezuelan oil by the United States government, an act that has been described by participants as a flagrant outrage, a violation of international norms and an action that undermines the peace rights of nations.

«We join the national protest to demand the immediate cessation of sanctions and respect for international law; Likewise, we reaffirm that these Bolivarian people will remain firm in the defense of their wealth and sovereignty,” Flores highlighted.

Monagas raises his voice against the piracy of imperialism

The state of Monagas marched this Saturday in national protest against piracy by the US government.

From Sucre Street to Páez Street, in Maturín, hundreds of people from Monaco marched to denounce the imperialist threats against Venezuela and the theft of an oil tanker carrying almost 2 million barrels of crude oil by the United States.

Between whistles, banners and banners, the political leader and governor of Monagas, Ernesto Luna, stated that there are a people who defend the nation, that is why they mobilize to defend the democratization of oil.

“They have not passed through Monagas nor will they pass,” stated Governor Luna, while reaffirming that this region remains a solid, articulated and armored block to defend its territory.

Likewise, the president denounced that the theft of an oil tanker near the Venezuelan coast seeks to provoke an incident, but assured that they will not achieve their objective, since the Government will continue to guarantee peace throughout the country.

Sucrenses take to the streets to protest against US action

The revolutionary people of the state of Sucre mobilized from Perimetral Avenue, Virgen del Valle sector, to the Guzmán Blanco bridge, in the city of Cumaná; as a protest against the interference of the United States (US) government, to illegally seize the assets and resources of Venezuela.

When referring to the recent assault of the oil tanker in the Caribbean, the governor of the state of Sucre, Jhoanna Carrillo, described this act as a lack of respect for international conventions by the US.

Likewise, he said that “we are not going to negotiate raided oil or the sovereignty of Venezuela. “It has cost us for years and, today we tell the whole world that Venezuela respects itself.”

Finally, the regional leader affirmed that they will continue with a peace agenda and assured that they will not fall into imperial provocations.

Massive march in Apure in rejection of the assault on an oil tanker

A march and rally took place today in San Fernando de Apure, as part of the national protest against what the government calls “Yankee piracy.”

The mobilization started from Primero de Mayo Avenue and ended at the Fisherman’s Monument.

The event was led by the Bolivarian governor of the Apure state and political liaison of the Psuv, Wilmer Rodríguez, who pointed out that the United States is desperate, as it intends to seize Venezuelan oil.

He flatly denied the existence of criminal groups such as the “Tren de Aragua” or “Cartel de los Soles” in the country, stating that the “real cartels” are abroad.

“They took off the mask,” he reiterated, in reference to the latest international actions against Venezuela.

The closing of the event served to call for patriotic unity and the defense of sovereignty, framing the current protest within the historical resistance of the Venezuelan people. The rally ended with slogans of support for President Nicolás Maduro and the Bolivarian revolution.
