MIAMI, United States. – The business group Cubasol, of the Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR) of Cuba, plans new investments to strengthen the non-hotel infrastructure of the Island until 2030, including the development of golf courses, according to published this Tuesday the state agency Prensa Latina.

The vice president of Cubasol, Alex Mulet, explained that the group has around 150 projects to be completed before 2030, including recreational parks, adventure parks and the expansion of nautical activities.

In addition, he pointed out that approximately 40 will be carried out before 2026, as part of integrated developments with various non-hotel services.

In this regard, he said that part of this plan is already being processed in Cayo Coco, which will also begin in other poles of the country such as Cienfuegos, Sancti Spíritus, Varadero and Holguin.

The planned attractions include investments in water parks, dolphinariums, infrastructure for boat excursions and the display of natural attractions, in addition to the practice of cable skiing and diving, said the group’s commercial director, Yudaysi Lazo, according to the report. of Latin Press.

According to the official media note, another area of ​​development for Cubasol is real estate, linked to golf courses.

The general director of Cuba Golf, Rubén Forés, commented that four joint ventures are currently established for this purpose: La Habana, Carbonera SA, for activity in Matanzas; El Salado SA, in Artemisa, and Punta Colorada, in Pinar del Río.

“In these areas, real estate projects related to the practice of this sport will be established, as well as other tourist activities and the trade of properties for foreigners,” Forés said.
