Carignano expressed himself through his Twitter account.

The National Director of Migration, Florence Carignanoreported this Sunday that During the current government, the number of people who left the country fell by more than half. compared to the stage of the Mauricio Macri administration between 2015 and 2019.

“The daily average of people who left and did not return for 1 year during the macrismo is 164 per day. Meanwhile, when taking the data from the immigration affidavit (since 2020), the daily average of people who recorded a move is 78 per day. Less than half,” Carignano explained on Twitter, attaching statistical tables.

He clarified that “to date, the only official data is obtained from the immigration affidavit that we implemented on 9/7/20. There are no previous official data“.

“This is the official information. Fact kills story“, sentenced the official.

In this way, Carignano went to the crossroads of Macri, who said this Sunday that the country is going through “the largest exodus of Argentines in its history”.

The spokeswoman for the Presidency, Gabriela Cerruti, accused Macri of “manipulating the illusion and spirit” of the citizenry “with false news.”

Cerruti denied that “there are more Argentines emigrating than at any other time” and Carignano endorsed the information with the official data that he distributed through the social network.
