The Ministry of Health reported this Monday 27 deaths from coronavirus and 4,426 infections in the last week in Argentina. According to the data released, the number of deaths decreased 51% in relation to the previous report, when 56 deaths had been reported.
Regarding infections, today’s figure represents a drop of 48% compared to last week (8,614). In this way, there are 130,421 officially registered deaths at the national level and 10,037,135 those infected since the start of the pandemic.
The health portfolio indicated that they are 343 hospitalized with coronavirus in intensive care unitswith a percentage of occupancy of adult beds in the public and private sectors, for all pathologies, of 40.8% in the country.
During the last week, 8 people died in the province of Buenos Aires, 6 in the city of Buenos Aires, 2 in Chaco, 2 in Chubut, 1 in Entre Ríos, 1 in Mendoza, 2 in Río Negro, 1 in Salta, 1 in San Juan, 1 in San Luis, 3 in Santa Fe, and 2 in Santiago del Estero. Misiones, meanwhile, reported -3 cases.
Vaccination
According to the Public Vaccination Monitor, the total number of doses applied amounts to 114,194,060of which 41,124,005 received one dose, 37,991,466 both, 3,169,275 an additional one, 22,431,525 the first booster, 7,792,919 the second, and 1,674,948 the third, while the vaccines distributed to the jurisdictions reach 124,453,262 and those donated to 5,083,000.
