The deaths from Covid-19, have decreased considerably, since of 126 cases registered in week 5, in the last week only 6 deaths were reported.
According to the Epidemiology report of the Ministry of Health on the situation of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, there were no deaths from the disease in hospitals in the country.
The report details that in the world there are 502, 224,774 accumulated cases of Covid-19; in addition to 441,202,770 recovered and 6,214,906 deceased for a lethality of 1.2%.
In Panama, 768,199 accumulated cases have been presented, of which 364 are new positive cases. There is a cumulative 8,178 deaths from the disease and a lethality of 1.1%, one of the lowest in the region.
The recovered amount to 757,373, of which 183 were added today as recovered from the disease. 5,767 tests were applied for a positivity of 6.3%.
There are 2,648 positive active cases in the country, of which 2,563 are in home isolation and 85 hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 2,552 at home and 11 in hotels. Those who are hospitalized are 75 in the Ward and 10 in the ICU.
