I don’t see any constitutional crisis. All the requirements and regulations established by the Magna Carta have been covered
for its reform, based on the correlation of forces in Congress, said President Claudia Sheinbaum regarding the amendment to the Judicial Branch of the Federation (PJF).

He explained that basically what they do is defend their privileges, for which they promote protections, but these resources do not proceed against constitutional modifications, but only against legal changes or acts of authority. So where is the constitutional crisis? Nowhere
he stressed.
Sheinbaum defended the legality of the decision of the majority of the members of the Federal Judiciary Council (CJF), who, with a vote of four to three, decided to send to the Senate the list of vacant judges and magistrates in the PJF. For this reason, he disqualified the accusations that the CJF’s decision is contrary to legality, when in reality it is compliance with a constitutional mandate.
On the contrary, he condemned the strike in the Judiciary, which has been going on for almost three months, but he also censured, collecting their salaries. As! Where is the access to justice that they defend so much?
–So you consider that the Judicial Council did not disregard judicial suspensions?
–No, because it is a constitutional mandate. They know that there is nothing above the Magna Carta.
He asserted that the last elections resulted in an integration in Congress that gave a qualified majority to Morena and its allies, which allowed the constitutional reform to be approved in accordance with the provisions of the law. He rejected the accusations of the commentators
who denounce overrepresentation in Congress, when the same law that has been used since 2012 for the assignment of multi-member legislators was applied.

Is this going to be beneficial for Mexico? Yes. During his morning conference, Sheinbaum admitted that secondary laws still need to be reformed to complement the constitutional amendment, among them, the Organic Law of the Judiciary. In addition, approve the regulations for the judicial court that will be created to replace the CJF, because it will not be an authoritarian court, as has been denounced, but rather it must have very clear operating rules.
Subsequently, he added, to complete the circle, the functioning of the prosecutor’s offices and civic justice must be reviewed.
