The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Mipymes (MICM) announced today that the week of February 19 to 25 the price of the fuels they stay frozen.
Ramon Perez Fermindeputy minister of MICMstated that the government allocated RD$610 million to contain the increases that would be around RD$40.00. The average dollar rate weighted by the Central Bank (BanCentral) was RD$57.14.
In that sense, the Premium Gasoline will remain at RD$287.60 and the Regular Gasoline continues at RD$270.50.
Meanwhile, the Regular Diesel will continue at RD$217.60 and the Optimum Diesel will continue at RD$236.10 per gallon.

However the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) remains at RD$147.60 per gallon and the Natural gas maintains its price at RD$28.97 per m3.
He too Avtur remains in RD$198.98; kerosene RD$227.60; fuel oil RD$162.95 per gallon and the Fuel Oil 1% in RD$180.29.
With this provision, the Government maintains for the second consecutive week the guarantee that there will be no major increases in the price of fuel, despite the high cost of oil at the international level.
