Ferney Guaitero is one of those many peasants in Colombia who works the land daily to supply food to the rest of the population.
He is known on social networks as “the Tik Toker farmer” since like other characters in the guild such as the Gaona family ‘Nubia and Children’, has seen in digital platforms a way of life for the Colombian people to know what the activities of the field are like and their importance for the country.
He makes his videos on his farm located in San Vicente del Chucurí, a Santander area where the Hass Avocado proliferates.

As he rightly said, many times there is the erroneous perception that rural people live poorly due to the type of work they have to do and because they live in rural areas where technology is often limited.
“There are daddies, poor peasants who live in a wooden house,” said the farmer ironically to refute this premise.
However, he showed that they live well at home and take full advantage of technology.
“We have a house whose roof is slipping, mijitos,” the farmer showed.
With a stick, Ferney moved the sunroof from end to end, very useful in times of rain or inclement sun.
In social networks they have applauded this peasant ingenuity that has served for many to “change the chip” on what the life of a peasant is really like. Some privileged with these examples, others not so much.
