The National Directorate of Traffic Operations during the last 72 hours registered 4,107 violations of the Traffic Regulations, of these 1,089 were for speeding, 146 for proven drunkenness, 70 for talking on a cell phone, 39 for alcoholic breath, 178 for inadequate lights , and 69 for expired licenses.
Bejarano explained that this morning they attended a case of a hit and run in the district of La Chorrera, where one person lost his life and 5 injuries were reported.
