After his first approach to the governors of five provinces, this Tuesday, Silvina Batakis will meet with another group of leaders, in search of political support, after the package of economic measures announced by the head of the Treasury Palace last week.
In their first meeting, Silvina Batakis managed to convene governors Gerardo Zamora (Santiago del Estero), Raúl Jalil (Catamarca), Osvaldo Jaldo (Tucumán), Omar Gutiérrez (Neuquén) and Axel Kicillof (Buenos Aires); furthermore, together with the economy ministerwas the Chief of Staff, Juan Manzur.
At the end of the meeting, Manzur himself expressed through his social networks that the meeting between Silvina Batakis and the governors had been very fruitful and that the provincial leaders had expressed their support for the minister.
Likewise, the Chief of Staff expressed that more meetings of this type will be held in the coming days, since, in addition to working together with the provincial leaders, what is sought is to learn closely the needs of each region.
Consequently, this Tuesday, batakis and Manzur will meet with governors Sergio Uñac, from San Juan; Gustavo Bordet, from Entre Ríos, and Ricardo Quintela, from La Rioja.
The meeting, in which the measures announced last week will be analyzed, is scheduled for 5:00 p.m., at the Palacio de Hacienda, because “the objective of these meetings is to take note of the priorities of each province to promote their development “, according to the Government.
Later there will be more meetings, since the minister decided to convene the provincial leaders in small groups so that there is a better dialogue between all.
What was discussed in the first meeting.
The first meeting of the minister with a group of governors, the central axis was the economic situation of the country and the measures that the Government will take to solve these needs. In addition, the consequences of the war in Ukraine were analyzed.
Likewise, the priorities of each region were studied in order to strengthen the provincial economies and, consequently, their development, employment and production.
