The Treasury Manager of the Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB), Claudia Soruco, reported that until Friday (March 10) in Santa Cruz, in the offices of Banco Unión, it was reached sell a million dollars

Soruco explained that between Peace ($9 million), Cochabamba ($2 million) and the crucena capital ($1 million) the BCB billed for direct sales 12 million dollars, to 1,200 people.

The official of the issuing entity explained that in the city of La Paz during the morning of Saturday (March 11th), already there were no lines and that the demand for US divide was lessr. “There were fewer people, but we will still attend extended hours to satisfy the public,” he said.

In Santa Cruz rows of people could be seen at the offices of Banco Unión (Cuéllar street, between 21 de Mayo and Spain) who came to buy dollars. The sale in the department began with four days lateas in Cochabamba.

Soruco recalled that the attention schedule, from Monday to Friday, in the three previously named departments are: 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and that in La Paz, out of three customer service ATMs, 15 were enabled so that the flow of sales, at the BCB central office, is faster.
