With a view to returning to face-to-face classes in the department of Santa Cruz for this March 14, the deputy director of Regular Education, José Luis Balderrama Arandia, stated this Wednesday that 50% of schools already have face-to-face classes and 30% are with blended mode.

“At the level of Santa Cruz we have about 3,200 educational units and almost 50% are in the face-to-face modality, more than 30% blended, the remaining 17% are doing the paperwork, as indicated by the resolution to pass it to the departmental direction of education. and report the change of modality. We will make all of this known in an inter-institutional meeting with the government,” Balderrama said in contact with Central Affairs.

In this context, he said that on Monday, March 14, 100% of face-to-face classes will start. For this, schools and parents are accommodating and ask to send students with all biosecurity measures.

He also mentioned that currently 50% of students are vaccinated against covid and in the case of teachers it reaches 98%.

For his part, the director of Education of the municipality of Santa Cruz, Raul Azcarrunz, reported that they will hold a meeting with Seduca, parents, private schools, the Catholic Church, to see the latest details of the return to face-to-face classes.
