In Rio, 47.3% must settle debts with the 13th salary, says Fecomércio

Most salary adjustments in October were above inflation

A survey by the Fecomércio Institute of Research and Analysis (IFec RJ), carried out on December 1st and 2nd, with 629 workers in the capital of Rio de Janeiro, shows that 68.8% of those interviewed receive the 13th salary, and that 51.5% of them intend to spend it, while 47.3% will settle debts contracted during the year.

According to the survey, 24.7% said they will save and 19.9% ​​said they will give more than one destination to the 13th.

According to the survey, among workers who intend to settle or write off their debts (47.3%), 71.7% intend to settle their debts with a credit card, while 9.3% will use the resources to write off or pay off financing.

Already 3.4% reported that they will use the benefit to pay the overdraft, 2.9% of consumers will use the 13th salary to settle personal loans, with the exception of the overdraft, and 2%, the booklets. According to the study, 10.7% cited other debts to be settled.
