A total of 3,938 cases of coronavirus have been detected in the facilities of the country’s prisons in the last week.
As reported by the General Directorate of the Penitentiary System in its official report on the behavior of Covid-19 cases, of the total number of reported cases, 3,811 have already been recovered, while 117 inmates are in isolation.
They also reported 10 deaths in recent weeks.
They highlighted that the rules of hand washing, use of masks, physical distancing, cleaning, among others, are still in force to reduce the risks of contagion.
