In Panama, between 2 and 3 cups of coffee are consumed per day

In Panama there is an average consumption of 231 cups of coffee per capita per year and this October 1 International Coffee Day, this drink with a lot of history and tradition, which is the most consumed in the world, cannot be overlooked.
According to a study to learn about coffee consumption preferences, developed by KANTAR, an agency specializing in market research, for Panamanians a cup of coffee is inevitable before starting their day; Whether black, with milk or with sugar, a good cup of coffee is part of the day for a large part of the Panamanian population.

The study indicates that consumption habits in Panama reflect that 90% of coffee lovers add sugar or sweetener to their cup of coffee, while 40% prefer it black and 60% white it. While 43% consume it with Ideal evaporated milk.

It should also be noted that the highest consumption of this delicious drink is at breakfast with a 79% preference, then 35% of consumers enjoy it in the afternoon and 30% at night. It is estimated that Panamanians drink between 2 to 3 cups of coffee a day.

Coffee in any of its presentations such as soluble, roasted and ground coffee is more than just a drink, its main consumption factors are a mix between functionality and emotional connection with the drink, because coffee is present throughout the day and all the days.
