In Nueva Esparta state, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (SUV) organized a rally to commemorate 10 years of the last proclamation of President Hugo Chávez, which has been called Loyalty Day.
From Bolívar de Juan Griego street, Marcano municipality of the insular entity, the Bolivarian mayors, together with the deputies to the National Assembly, legislators, councilors and grassroots leaders of the political organization recalled that last live broadcast of the Bolivarian leader.
During the act, Alí Romero, mayor of the Arismendi municipality highlighted the importance of unity to conquer new victories.
“In the hardest moments of his illness, that December 8, 2012, Chávez left us that important message of unity, struggle, battle and victory; For this reason, today from Nueva Esparta, we promise that we will continue building unity so that the enemies of the peoples do not destroy our homeland. In unity we are going to rescue the state of Nueva Esparta and we are going to guarantee the victory of our president Nicolás Maduro in 2024”, said Romero.
In the same order of ideas, the mayor of the Marcano municipality, Yul Armas, said that the mayors of the PSUV work together with popular power to continue overcoming difficulties.
“Let us have faith and hope in the national government that is showing its face together with the PSUV to all the problems that Nueva Esparta faces. Despite all the blockade, the sanctions and everything that we have had against us, today we have a revolution underway stronger than ever and a President loyal to the Venezuelan people,” Armas said.

Yannelys Moreno, Head of UBCH in the Arismendi municipality, stated that today the entire PSUV base leadership in Nueva Esparta, which was recently renewed, works for consolidation and loyalty towards the Bolivarian revolution.
“Today our party is fighting and we are preparing for future electoral battles. Today, the bases and leaders of the UBCh are prepared, all the structures, the social movements are up in the fight to continue strengthening the Bolivarian revolution in Venezuela. Long live our president Nicolás Maduro Moros”, said the leader.
In the same sense, Andremar Godoy, who is the Head of the Ubch Valery Maza of the Marcano municipality, recalled that the revolution is love, humanism and social protection.
José Rodríguez, a farmer from the Antolín del Campo municipality, was present at the rally and recalled that last speech by President Hugo Chávez.
“It is a moment that we revolutionaries will never forget. Our commander Chávez addressed the entire town, assuming the difficult health situation that afflicted him and he left us traced the route to continue in unity, fight, battle and victory. We, 10 years after that historic December 8, are still fighting alongside President Nicolás Maduro”.
