The militancy of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) in the Nueva Esparta state, celebrated the 16th anniversary of the creation of this political organization with talks, cultural fairs and political events in the 11 municipalities of the insular entity.
From the city of Juan Griego, Gaspar Marcano municipality, the executive secretary of the PSUV, Doily Hernández, stressed that this political organization is increasingly committed to the people in the search for social welfare.
“Our Party is getting stronger every day, and increasingly attuned to the people, working in perfect union to consolidate the Bolivarian revolution hand in hand with President Nicolás Maduro Moros,” said Hernández.
For his part, the mayor of said jurisdiction, Yul Armas, recalled that the PSUV is one of the largest political organizations in Latin America, with more than 7 million members; Likewise, he recognized the work of the grassroots leaders and thanked President Nicolás Maduro for continuing to consolidate “the Chávez party.”
“Every day I feel more proud to be a PSUV militant and to be on the side of Chávez, Maduro and this courageous people,” Armas said.
PSUV: A party of the people
In the capital of Nueva Esparta, La Asunción, Leopoldo Espinoza Prieto, regional leader of the PSUV held a conversation with the heads of the UBCh, community and street leaders, recalling 16 years of history of the red awning.
The PSUV leader expressed the jubilation and significance of the date and said that the PSUV is a victorious party that has proven its construction through legal means and alongside the people’s struggles.
«We are a party with representation in every corner, space and street in Venezuela; We are the structure that has thought the most and provided opportunities to youth, in addition, we are feminists, a principle of justice and equality that we embrace with the greatest passion,” Espinoza Prieto said during the discussion.
Commitment to humanist values
In the García municipality, the deputy to the National Assembly, César González, together with the mayor Cruz Lairet and the regional leader Víctor Tovar recalled the most important historical milestones of the PSUV in Nueva Esparta, during a discussion that took place in the hall of sessions of the Municipal Council, in El Valle del Espíritu Santo.
“From Nueva Esparta we commit ourselves to always continue defending the humanist, socialist and revolutionary ideals of our Commander Chávez, and to continue in the fight for the protection of those most in need, together with our president Nicolás Maduro”, said deputy César González.
Likewise, in the Antolín del Campo municipality, Mayor David Caraballo, together with the councilors and the revolutionary militants sang the birthday in a Christmas atmosphere, with exhibitions of painting, theater, dance and margarita partying.
“We are happy to be able to celebrate these 16 years of the largest and most organized party in Latin America; We continue next to our giant Hugo Chávez, President Nicolás Maduro, and our vice-president brother, Diosdado Cabello Rondón. Every day we show that we are made of love, of will, of optimism but above all of loyalty and conscience to the Homeland, inviolable principles of our PSUV,” said Caraballo.
