After three unsuccessful public acts, the Ministry of Education will finally award the order to proceed for the construction of the new Bolívar Commercial Institute (ICB) and the República de Venezuela School.
This was reported by the Minister of Education Maruja Gorday de Villalobos who went to the rented building, in which the students of this campus receive classes, who protested earlier to demand improvements to these premises since the building also has poor conditions.
Minister Gorday de Villalobos met with teachers, students and parents and indicated that they also had some economic difficulties with the rental of the building but that the procedures to make the disbursement had already been carried out.
He stressed that the school has more than 50 thousand balboas from the FECE in execution.
According to Professor Rodrigo del Cid, from the ICB educational community, what was discussed during the meeting with the minister showed that the order to proceed could be awarded between the first and second week of November, which would give way to the start of the construction.
Deputy Minister Rodrigo Sánchez also announced that the order to proceed to build the Bolívar and the Escuela República de Venezuela, is for a cost of 19 million balboas.
