In Mexico they create the Anti-imperialist Front

Dozens of people protested in front of the United States embassy in Mexico City to demand the release of the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife, Cilia Flores, kidnapped on January 3 by the administration of Donald Trump.

This massive day allowed the creation of the Mexican Anti-imperialist Front to be formalized, a movement that was presented with Venezuelan flags and slogans of support for President Maduro, the first combatant and the president in charge Delcy Rodríguez.

During the protest, protesters denounced the aggression against Venezuela and the violation of human rights.

The spokespersons of the day also rejected the threats of coercive tariffs that, as they noted, seek to pressure the Aztec country.

The Front is made up of the National Coordinator of Solidarity with Venezuela, the Francisco Villa Popular Front, Suma, the Single Union of Sedatu Workers, the Migala Collective, the National Front in Defense of Sovereignty, the Popular Congress, Common Forces of San Luis Potosí and the Popular Union of Popular Vendors AC, among others.

After the launch of the new group, the members of the Anti-Imperialist Front announced an agenda of activities for the month of February, among which a boycott of companies linked to the war industry stands out.

They have also called for a world day for the release of President Maduro and his wife, for February 3, one month after the United States military attack on Venezuela and the kidnapping of the presidential couple. In this way, Mexico joins the international voices that demand respect for the sovereignty of Venezuela and the immediate release of its political leaders.
