The Social Security Institute (IPS) in Chile administers a series of economic benefits to support different sectors of the population. These benefits, which vary in amount and payment date depending on the specific program, are available month to month to beneficiaries. In some cases, these payments remain pending if they have not been collected, and the IPS allows users to easily check if they have accumulated amounts to receive.
To facilitate this consultation, the IPS has enabled an online system that allows you to verify the payments earrings quickly and free. With just two steps, anyone who suspects they have an unpaid benefit can enter the ChileAtiende web portal and access the information.
The first step to consult is to enter the ChileAtiende website, where the IPS has provided a specific option called “Check if you have a payment receivable.” By clicking on this section, the user will be redirected to a form where they can begin the process of verifying their pending benefits.
Once in the corresponding section, the second passed is to enter the beneficiary’s personal data, including the RUN and date of birth. With this information, the system will perform a search and, after pressing the “Consult” button, it will show whether or not there are pending payments.
If the system indicates the existence of payments to collect, the user can choose to enter with their ClaveÚnica, which will allow them to manage the payment method. The available options include bank deposit, which ensures a direct and fast transfer, or in-person collection at places authorized for such payments.
