The Criminal Code already imposes life imprisonment for minors. In short, the death penalty does not resocialize, ”he said.

In turn, the regional prefect of Junín, Nestor Taipe Orrego, said that, Peru is part of the Inter -American Court of Human Rights (IACHR). “If Peru chooses to leave the IACHR, there would be social, and even economic consequences. He pointed out that the solution is not in the death penalty, but in other measures that the Executive should adopt.
