In eight points, Guaidó explained his opposition position before Maduro's speech with the media

Protection of assets, license extension to Chevron because the dialogue table was reactivated in Mexico and that its progress will depend on the progress and the agreements that are signed, are some things that Juan Guaidó, president of the AN 2015, said via Twitter after the conference press of the president, Nicolás Maduro, to give his version of what happens in the negotiations

Juan Guaidó, president of the National Assembly elected in 2015 and considered by a part of the international community as the president in charge of Venezuela, described eight points to avoid the “false narrative” of the president, Nicolás Maduro, about the dialogue in Mexico.

Through your account at Twitter, Guaidó sought to establish a position in response to Maduro’s press conference, which he offered to the international media on Wednesday, November 30. He assured that the frozen funds that the UN will administer, after signing a social agreement between the delegations of the ruling party and the opposition, was because these resources were “protected” since the interim and that now they will be invested as relief in the population.

He stated that the Maduro administration “stole some 20,000 dollars from each Venezuelan” to give a total of 300 billion dollars, thus justifying the “protection” of assets. He noted that the crisis in the country and the lack of money have produced a migration of 7.5 million people so far.

He recalled that the president continues to be internationally sanctioned, as are state companies such as Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA) and added that the extended license that the United States (USA) granted Chevron to work in Venezuela was the result of the reactivation of the mesa in Mexico. .

Its expansion will depend on the concrete progress made in the dialogue and the agreements that are signed.

The United States, shortly after signing the social agreement, extended license of operations to Chevron to import oil or petroleum products produced by its companies in Venezuela.

In this sense, Juan Guaidó said that from Miraflores they “killed the goose that laid the golden eggs” that was PDVSA and that, after criticizing and ranting against private companies and transnationals like Chevron, they depend on it to be able to reactivate the industry. .

He emphasized that work is not being done to extend a license, but rather to recover democracy and allow companies to invest in the country, providing legal security, for the reactivation of the industry.

Guaidó, in another point, stressed that the instance of Mexico was reached because “we do not trust the dictatorship” and, in order to reach concrete things, it is necessary to have facilitators.

This led him to emphasize that the dialogue mechanism offers the possibility of having an agreement that brings them closer to a negotiated solution to the country’s crisis and to be able to improve the electoral conditions of the elections “that they owe us”, alluding to what happened in 2018.

At the press conference offered by Nicolás Maduro on November 30 At the Miraflores Palace, the president of the 2020 National Assembly and head of the official delegation in Mexico, Jorge Rodríguez, took the floor to ensure that the agreement signed in Mexico with the Unitary Platform buries the interim government headed by Juan Guaidó, president of the NA of 2015.

“This is the death certificate of the Guaidocista adventure. When European countries and the United States celebrate the signing of the social agreement, they are in some way acknowledging that this file of coups d’etat, assassination attempts, invasion attempts, attempts to set up parallel puppet governments, failed. It is like a kind of act of surrender, a kind of capitulation to the entire warmongering strategy,” said Rodríguez.

For his part, Ripe He asserted that he will soon begin talks “with all the oppositions” in Venezuela, where he plans to condition that the next presidential elections -scheduled for 2024- be “free” of sanctions imposed by the United States and countries of the European Union.

“Do you want free elections? fair and transparent? Free elections and without sanctions at the time the Constitution so determines,” said the president, who reiterated that there are more than 600 sanctions on Venezuela, which have a special impact on the economic and oil sector.
