About 200 people waited at Eduardo Molina and Emiliano Zapata, a few blocks from the Chamber of Deputies, for the vehicle of the President of the Republic, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, to pass, but it did not appear. They arrived at 5 in the morning. We are from the Sonora market. We sell clothes
some said. Others said: We come to support the President. We wish you success in your government
.
Young people, men and women reiterated: We come to support the President. I hope you stop by here! We’re early, that’s why we’re ahead.
.
They were residents of the Venustiano Carranza, Cuauhtémoc and Benito Juárez municipalities. They were silent for hours. And on a couple of occasions a woman chanted: Long live Andrés Manuel López Obrador! Long live President Claudia Sheinbaum!
Then silence returned, and continued until 12:30, when they began to leave.
There were also students: I am studying accounting and my friend is studying business administration. We come to support the President
.
Some women, who said they were neighbors of the Venustiano Carranza mayor’s office, stated: We come to support President Sheinbaum. She is the first woman to reach that position and we want her to do well. Let’s hope he does an excellent job, like the one President Andrés Manuel López Obrador did.
.
They stayed there for almost eight hours, but they had no luck. President Sheinbaum’s vehicle did not pass here, for whom they waited for hours. Some leaning on the fences, others on the fence, on one side of a puddle left by the rain the day before. One of the young people who was there said: I am a Morena activist. I come to support President Claudia Sheinbaum. We want it to do well and provide more support to disabled people and those who have the least.
.
Angélica and Rocío came from the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office. They arrived at 6 in the morning and waited for the president to enter that place. We are glad that we have a woman as President. It was our turn for a woman to govern us, we want her to do well in her government.
.
They began to leave the place at 12:30, when the vehicles of the guests began to leave the Chamber of Deputies.
