In the first minutes of the new year, the births of two babies were registered in the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and in IMSS- Bienestar.
At the Gynecology-Obstetrics Hospital with Family Medicine number 60 in Tlalnepantla, state of Mexico, Sofía Isabel was born, who weighed 2.8 kilograms and measured 50 centimeters.
After the cesarean section, the specialists in charge of Andrea Guadalupe, 24 years old, who became a mother for the first time, handed over the newborn to her in accordance with the protocol of the Comprehensive Maternal Care model that establishes immediate attachment from minute zero of birth, necessary for the mother and the baby.
Meanwhile, at the IMSS-Bienestar Dr. Nicolás San Juan General Hospital, also in the state of Mexico, baby Michael was born.
