In Copenhagen they demanded the release of Maduro and Cilia

Hundreds of people from various civil society groups marched from the city center to the United States embassy. The reason for the mobilization is the absolute repudiation of the US bombing of Venezuelan territory and the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and the first lady, Cilia Flores.

During the mobilization, the protesters demanded immediate respect for the sovereignty of Venezuela, the release of the presidential couple and the cessation of hostilities and threats against the people of Cuba and Greenland.

Unions demand release of Maduro in Paris

With the slogan “Free President Maduro and Cilia Flores”, French unions gathered yesterday in front of the statue of the Liberator Simón Bolívar in Paris.

The mobilization was carried out at the call of the World Federation of Trade Unions and served to denounce the imperialist aggression that took place on January 3.

Union leaders described the current situation as a deprivation of freedom that affects the institutional stability of the South American nation.

The rally sought to make visible to the international community the workers’ rejection of the measures taken against President Nicolás Maduro.
