Yesterday afternoon, Felipe Consuelo Soto, third district judge based in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, granted a definitive suspension against the legislative process of judicial reform. However, this decision can be challenged before a collegiate court. A few days ago, Martha Magaña López, fifth district judge of Morelos, granted another definitive suspension in order to block the implementation of the aforementioned reform.
