The vice-presidential candidate Marelen Castillo voted this Sunday at the Colegio Nuestra Señora de la Anunciación, located northeast of the capital of Valle.
The caleña entered accompanied by followers who chanted her name. The Valle del Cauca educator approached the respective table where she deposited her vote and left accompanied by people who sang “the Valley has a vice president.”
The vice-presidential formula of the candidate for the House of Nariño, for the League of Anticorruption Governors party, indicated that He will travel to the country’s capital and await the results of the second presidential round with his family.

“I am going to Bogotá to meet with my family, the engineer Rodolfo will also wait for the results with his family in Bucaramanga”, said Marelen Castillo.
In the same way, he invited the citizens to avoid abstention and to exercise the right to vote, so that “today, June 19, Colombia wins, democracy wins,” he added.
On the other hand, took the opportunity to send a message to Colombians to trust in the institutions and to respect the decision of Colombians, in the democratic exercise.

“After the polls close, we are going to trust the results of the National Registry, We are going to trust that the difference is so great, that the decision of all Colombians is respected,” he stressed.
Finally, he committed to an agenda that prioritizes the Pacific region and focuses on uniting the entire country for development.
“We will work to unite Colombia, it is our union proposal and we are going to govern with everything (…) The Pacific and Valle del Cauca it’s on our agendawe are going to work hard for the difficulties and for the closing of the social gap”, he added.
