In regular session the Legislative Council of Bolívar State (CLEB) unanimously approved in first discussion the Partial Reform of the Bolivar State Mining Law, this in order to improve the policies applied to this important issue.
During the legislative day, the project of the Special Law for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship and the Promotion of Innovation of the Bolívar state was also admitted; action that seeks to strengthen the productive area in the region.
The regional parliamentarians expressed before the Chamber the different laws that will stimulate economic productivity in the Bolívar state.
“We want to regulate the mechanisms of access to financing and strengthen the ecosystem of the entrepreneur, with education and training, to expand state economic activity, for social welfare,” said Armando Barreto, president of the Cleb.
This fact will seek to sustain in real time a legal support structure according to the reality of entrepreneurs and thus develop their capacities, with legal guarantees.
Mining law reform
This legal instrument intends to update the necessary regulations for the development of all processes of exploration, prospecting, exploitation, extraction, among others, of the non-metallic mining activity.
It should be noted that in the Bolívar state, there is a large number of non-metallic minerals, such as dolomite, granite, stones, quartz, among others that are not protected by the national executive, but by regional legislation.
In this sense, the Law is a measure that will support the reorganization of the applicable legal regime so that clear and modern rules guarantee the exploitation and use of non-metallic minerals, and can be in harmony with the environment.
