In at least four months, the residents of the Kuna Nega area, in the district of Ancón, will have a new health center, according to architect Carlos Candanedo, national director of Infrastructure for the Ministry of Health (Minsa), who reported that the work has already It has a 60% progress.

During a tour of the project, Candanedo said that the delivery of this health infrastructure is planned for mid-August, with an approximate investment of 3 million dollars.

He stressed that this work was recently reactivated as well as the Curundú Health Center where they have already met with the contractor and are awaiting the necessary documentation to be able to follow up on this construction. He added that more than 30 projects nationwide that were paralyzed are being reactivated.

He added that this center will have two floors enabled, on the ground floor there will be the care area with general medicine, specialists and an emergency room which will be adapted to the new normality with an exclusive area for respiratory and said that they are also adapting 19 more centers in the metropolitan area. On the second floor there will be dentistry and the administrative area.
