Between last Friday and Sunday, in 24 entities of the country, federal forces carried out arrests, searches, seizures of firearms and different types of drugs and their destruction, such as in Sinaloa, Chihuahua, Durango and Guerrero, where Elements of the Mexican Army destroyed 284 poppy plantations in 27 hectares and 66 marijuana plantations in six hectares.
According to the security cabinet, among the operations, the one carried out in the municipality of Cosalá, Sinaloa, stands out, where the Army disabled an area of concentration of various materials for the production of methamphetamine, securing 1,980 liters of chemical substances valued at 44 million of pesos. In addition, they located 32 clandestine hydrocarbon intakes in five entities: four in Hidalgo, six in Querétaro, 12 in Jalisco, four in Guanajuato, six in Baja California.
Sinaloa prevails as the state with the highest number of arrests and seizures of weapons, improvised explosive devices, as well as seizures of illicit substances and vehicles without documentation.
