The hospital occupancy rate reflects the sustained increase in covid-19 infections. Yesterday, the demand for general beds went from 8 to 10 percent nationwide, while the occupancy of those with a fan rose from 2 to 3 percent.

The Ministry of Health reported that in the last 24 hours the confirmed cases continue to rise, with 24 thousand 610 new infections confirmed on Saturday, with a total of 6 million 83 thousand 299. Meanwhile, deaths increased by 28, to a cumulative of 325 thousand 775.

The daily technical report on the state of the pandemic in Mexico reported that active cases, that is, with symptoms in the last 14 days, rose to 171,564, with an incidence rate of 131.9 per hundred thousand inhabitants.

Health indicated that the daily average per week for the period from June 19 to 25 is 15 thousand 115 cases, that is, more than six thousand more than those reported for the previous epidemiological week, when 9 thousand 75 were reported.

The states with the highest number of active cases, with transmission capacity, are Mexico City, Baja California Sur, Quinta Roo, Yucatán, Sinaloa, Colima, Nuevo León, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí and Tabasco.
