So far, 15 thousand 375 nationals in the United States have registered with the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in which 62 percent are men and 38 percent women, said the head of the agency, Zoé Robledo.
At the town conference he said that these beneficiaries in turn have assured 14 thousand 705 relatives, whether couples, children under 16 and up to 25 when they study in a public campus, and parents if there is economic dependence.
Family insurance, he said, have been carried out in Chihuahua, Nuevo León and Jalisco.
He mentioned that these highs in the IMSS are carried out with 389 pesos of daily base salary and stressed that 13,921 countrymen recovered quoted weeks when registered as independent workers.
Of these, 1,321 managed to pension with the beginning of the Connational Affiliation Program in 2021.
He indicated that paying Infonavit allows migrants to access a housing loan and through the FINABIEN application they can also pay the IMSS fees, with commissions of 50 pesos and 2.99 per Self -Remets.
“We have worked hard with Finabien, which has grown in the offer of financial services for our migrant countrymen and country,” he said.
Robledo said that it is the application that “offers better conditions to those who send money and that they can pay this assurance.”
He indicated that the countrymen who require it can use the IMSS telephone orientation in 800-222-2668. So far 364 thousand calls of this type have been made in Mexico and from December 1 they will initiate digital consultation. The appointment can be generated through the app of the institute.
He mentioned that it is about “em-pattern it” with the Health House Program to “make the reconstruction of the clinical file of our countrymen, carry out health promotion actions, identify risks or detect diseases and give monitoring recommendations.
