The Cicpc captured Miguel Alejandro Colmenares Herrera (25), who is accused of the murder of Encarnación Vásquez Silva (74), which occurred in the Los Samanes Sur sector, Rafael Urdaneta parish, Valencia municipality, Carabobo state, on April 25.
The scientific police report posted on Instagram indicates that Miguel and Encarnación were drinking alcoholic beverages in an establishment in the Los Samanes sector.
In the middle of the drinks they had an argument that ended when the boy hit the septuagenarian with a mandarria, causing his death on the spot. The wounds were marked on Encarnación’s head and eyes.
At the beginning of the investigations, the Cicpc reconstructed the facts and identified the alleged murderer from whom it seized the mandarria that he used to commit the crime. The man was caught in the same sector where the murder occurred. The 5th Prosecutor of the Public Ministry opened a file on him.
In another proceeding, Policarabobo agents arrested a 24-year-old man in La Isabelica, Valencia, accused of beating another man who was on the streets.
Police officers acted after the complaint was made public through the networks. The subject left serious injuries on the face of the other, who is a psychiatric patient.
